Altar Linen Care

Altar Linens are very important in our faith. They are used during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and they help to take care of the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus in the Eucharist. It is very important that they be taken care of in a specific way because of the dignity of their use in our liturgies.

The Altar Linen Care Ministry does the following:

• Our main focus is to launder the Altar linens.
• The only requirement is that you know how to wash clothes and iron.
• The person is assigned on a rotating schedule. Currently, that works out to once a month. There is no meeting as the person takes the linens home to launder them after the 11:00 am Sunday Mass or picks them up Monday morning.
